Trivia[]
Some of her traits, most notably her interest in art, were passed on to Cheers character Diane Chambers. Cheers was created by Taxi writers Glen and Les Charles and Taxi director James Burrows. However, unlike Elaine, who was briefly homeless after her apartment got turned into a more expensive co-op and who was also willing to prefer Mario's as her hangout, Diane was blonde, wealthy, more educated and snobbish.
